Yes. It works with personal WhatsApp, the WhatsApp Business app and numbers on the WhatsApp Business API, including numbers connected to auton8n.
Is anything stored or sent to your server?
No. The link and the QR code are created in your browser. We do not see or save the number or message.
Does the link or QR code expire?
No. It keeps working as long as the number is on WhatsApp. If you change the message, make a new QR code, because the text is part of the link.
Can I see how many people clicked?
Not with a plain wa.me link. In auton8n, chats that arrive from your link land in the shared inbox, and a pre-filled keyword (for example "MENU") can start a chatbot flow automatically.
